Gensler designed the new offices for CoBiz Financial, a local business bank located in Denver, Colorado.

CoBiz Financial is a local business bank located in Colorado and Arizona committed to serving business owners, professionals, and high-net-worth individuals. They take pride in tailoring to each customer’s needs, thereby allowing each individual to succeed personally and professionally.

CoBiz desired a new environment that reflected their business and organizational goals, told their brand story, and highlighted their most valuable asset; their people. Their original space was oversized for the headcount and did not enhance the experience of customers and employees.

High walls, lack of client meeting destinations, absence of casual social interaction spaces, and inability to adjust their workspace were all in conflict with the CoBiz brand. Their space lacked the ability to showcase the level of hospitality and service CoBiz provides. The goal for this project was to create a shared, consistent experience that reflects their core values and one they were proud to showcase.
