The architectural complex consists of a 400 meter long pedestrian walkway that links the Olympic Village and the Administrative Center of Lingotto, held up by a red arch 69 meters high and 55 long.
The Olympic Arch has a practical function, as it brings together two parts of the city divided by the railway park of the Lingotto, and a symbolic function, as it is an innovative structure, visible from a distance that represents the urban renewal of the city.
During the Olympic Games, the boardwalk has allowed the athletes to climb over the rail moving from the Olympic Village (north of the Station Lingotto) to the tender plants (near the Multi-purpose Center).
