Located in Mérida's Yucatán Country Club, Casa Patio seeks to create a serene lifestyle that takes advantage of site conditions and is capable of responding passively to the local climate.

The program is resolved in two floors to occupy only the southern half of the land, generating a large north patio shaded by a majestic existing Habin Tree, the protagonist of all views.

On the ground floor and with stone walls in the region, the house closes towards the street to generate privacy and opens completely towards the patio to integrate the interior spaces through a pergola terrace that seeks to provoke exterior life in daily activities.

On the upper floor and in lighter volumes are the private areas with openings that generate cross ventilation in all rooms.

The curved corner of the land is used by means of a curved wall that houses an interior garden connected to a double-height hall around which the interior circulations are articulated.
