The phenomenon of street children was clearly appeared in Egypt in the eighties of the last century, as a reflection of the economic declination witnessed in the country at that time, which worsened the social combination at that time.In addition to the increase in unemployment rates widening the causes of  family disintegration as a result, Government’s plans and strategies of confrontation at the national level didn’t reach any level of notable successes in this field as a result of a focus on treatment effects without causes, has led to an increase in the growth of this phenomenon at a fast rate and successive far outweigh national plans to address poverty, unemployment, and dropping out of education as well as lack of health care .The phenomenon turned over during the past years to an issue threatening the security and social stability in society.
