Durantin is a cosy 40m2 apartment located in the heart of the prestigious area of Montmartre, Paris. The architecture of the space was Stephanie’s main focus; she worked the feel of this small apartment to give it the attribute of a big one, while creating unique features and atmosphere.
A shower was placed under an antique glass roof. Historically the glass roof was providing Light to a painters workshop, it now brings a beautiful feel to a bathroom. A modular space was formed between the entrance and the bathroom in order to accommodate storage and utilities. Two large dressing cupboards were built to measure on each side of the bed to suit the owner’s storage needs. The kitchen was designed in the living area. Stephanie Lizee’s aim was to blend the look of the kitchen into the lounge without loosing its functionality, that’s why she has chosen the unique blue colour to match the young spirit of the owners.
