The owner of this tired, 1980’s family home wanted to provide a sharp, bright makeover to the front elevation, whilst reconfiguring the dated internal layout. This brief needed to be fulfilled, all whilst not altering the existing structural footprint of the home and including the addition of an alfresco living space.
The renovation of this home included a cosmetic facelift to the existing façade, squaring off the dated arches and adding a cantilevering balcony with exposed edge beam. Internally, the layout was reworked, transforming the three bedroom, two bathroom home into four bedrooms and four bathrooms with open plan living to suit the clients family needs.
Overall, the internal and external pallet received a much needed update to include warmer, brighter tones and materials to give the home a brighter, more inviting feel.
