天井是中国

老宅采光最主要的构造，

客厅在古徽州被称作“明堂”，于是又有了“四水归明堂”之说

。

天井采光的采光效率是由天井的高宽比决定的，越浅、大的天井采光效率就越高

。

The courtyard is the main structure of lighting in the old Chinese House. The living room was called "Mingtang" in ancient Huizhou, so it was said that "four waters return to Mingtang"
