The Navara building is located in a new industrial district on the outskirts of Casablanca, a developing district with a few old buildings of different sizes. Having no hook at the level of the urban context, the idea of a completely abstract facade translating a kind of iconic image and of a modern calligraphy quickly emerged.
The immaculate white skin of the facade stands out against the glazed dark gray background. This double reading between full and empty, white and black creates a kind of complementary dichotomy. The unity of the whole is also expressed through a complexity and tension between geometric shapes that are sometimes fluid and continuous, sometimes interrupted, only touching each other through sharp points.
The Navara building houses offices and storage spaces in a white, fluid and bright interior. The thickness of the outer skin makes it possible to accommodate storage spaces inside. The purity and unity of the exterior form changes at every moment of the day through the contrast of shadows further emphasizing the project's abstraction.
