EN - Located in the historic and cultural centre of Odessa, Uno Design Hotel is a project by designer Nunzio Da Vià. The design concept took into account the original architecture of the historic building whose style soaks up the Neo-Baroque influence of the nearby Opera House, or Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The restoration work gave an urban touch to the building while fully respecting the existing wall decorations and furnishing materials.

On the walls, a reinterpretation of the classic finishes was made possible through the use of Inkiostro Bianco’s artistic wallpapers. The choice was made to use the works of Saturno Buttò, an artist who has been long collaborating with Inkiostro Bianco. Images that give the rooms a strong sense of grandeur, which place the human figure at the centre of the scene with fascinating tension, glorifying the innate sensuality of the body and deep spirituality.

Situato nel centro storico e culturale di Odessa l’Uno Design Hotel è un progetto del designer Nunzio Da Vià. Il pensiero progettuale ha tenuto conto dell’architettura originale dello storico palazzo il cui stile assorbe l’influenza neo-barocca della vicina Opera House, o Teatro Accademico Nazionale di Odessa dell’Opera e del Balletto. Il restauro realizzato ha infatti conferito un tocco urbano alla struttura nel pieno rispetto delle decorazioni murali e dei materiali di arredo presenti.

Sui muri la reinterpretazione dei rivestimenti classici è stata possibile grazie alle carte da parati artistiche di Inkiostro Bianco. La scelta è caduta sulle opere di Saturno Buttò, artista che da sempre collabora con Inkiostro Bianco. Immagini che conferiscono una forte suggestione alle stanze, che pongono al centro della scena la figura umana in un’affascinante tensione esaltandone l’innata sensualità del corpo e la profonda spiritualità.
