Thishomein Pal Alto, San Francisco has been designed with great respect for the surrounding nature and places. It does not draw all attention to itself, but organically fits into the local landscape and aesthetics. The building is surrounded by plants on all sides, and this closeness to nature became the starting point for the design. The inner space is filled with air and light, and the first and second floors seem to be connected together thanks to panoramic windows and the absence of a ceiling above the kitchen. The color scheme is also completely dictated by nature – these are shades of earth, khaki, sand and milky tones. All furniture and furnishings are made of natural high-quality materials, and the decor speaks of the owners’ love for minimalism.
