Udesign Architecture recently designed the Keyvan Aviation offices, an aviation consultancy located in Istanbul, Turkey.
Keyvan Aviation, headquartered in İstanbul, which has more than 20 years of aviation experience on meeting their customers needs with private jet consultancy, aviation fashion and aviation management consultancy.
During the design period we set our client’s high quality service to their own customers as our starting point and main objective and tried to reflect that quality to the office space. That had two main purposes; one was to make the employees work in an environment they want to offer to their own customers that is quality and comfort. Second was to give a sense to Keyvan’s customers a glimpse of the quality and comfort they will receive when they visit their office. So with the aim of quality and comfort, we used materials such as wood, ceramic and glass combined with carpet, ergonomic furnitures and a more classical and serious color palette.
Office is located in a full floor which originally has two separate entrances. Only one of the entrances is kept and the other is closed and then the office area is separated into mainly two parts as executive side and offices.
Around the buildings core, we placed support zones like storages, cloak room and server room. On these zones, around the core and in the hallways, we have curved lines on the walls and on the floors just as like aviation routes. Then we placed employees close to facade to help them benefit daylight at the fullest.
The color palette we use takes a turn in the cafeteria area to a more soft and pastel color. We called the area the blue cafe and used the relaxing blue color of soft sky.
