ERIK arkitekter completed the interior design for Sparekassen Thy, a banking company with offices located in Viborg, Denmark.
Sparekassen Thy’s division in Viborg has relocated to new facilities at Vestergade 2, Viborg, in June 2018. The bank has 16 locations in Jutland, and the department in Viborg is one of them.
According to the client’s request, the bank was designed as a space filled with opportunities, where the dreams of the bank’s customers could blossom.
The bank is rooted in the region of Thy and the interior should remind the customers about the bank’s origin, close to the North Sea coast. The bank has not the layout of a typical conservative bank. But instead it is spacious and designed with organic shapes – exactly like the logo of Sparekassen Thy.
The furniture and the selected red color scale are in harmony with the vision and identity of the bank. ERIK arkitekter has been responsible for the design layout and the entire rebuilt of the Viborg office division.
