the new Center 112
in Extremadura, Spain becomes a high-end technology project. Located in the area of ‘Mérida Third Millennium’ at the capital of Extremadura.
Following the purpose to become a more effective office in accident and emergency-control services, the project gathered several new construction technologies.
The architectural features of the building follow the commitment made to minimize energy waste in a place that operates 24 hours a day. Thus, the building serves as a porous stone with shaded patios, spaces, and levels of open decks that allow natural temperature control. The materials employed on the inside follow a recycled nature, while partitions are made with safety or translucent glass, which are also removable. The design and construction management was carried out by the architectural firm.
Building facilities run accessible through ceilings and floors and there is absolute control over all building automation (temperature, lighting, networking, emergency, etc.). Polygroup supplied the project with raised access floor GAMAFLOR PAC 35/05 finished from factory in conductive vinyl CONDUCTILE SUPER-OR used for proper management of electrostatic discharge of the building.
