Shenzhen Bao'an airport is about to become one of the most advanced airports globally, in terms of decision-making processes and data control, all through digital transformation. Operation and Control Center and Data Center designed by the latest technology standards will ensure the highest levels of availability, maintainability, resiliency, and seamless business continuity. This advance aligns with countrywide's strategic digitalization process called "Digital China" and "Internet Power."
Our goal is an efficient and rational architecture that can fulfill the highest standards and flexibility for the new technology now and technology to come. In addition, buildings also need to achieve sustainability and safety standards and a healthy and pleasant working environment. Since the primary purpose of these two facilities is the digital transformation of the Airport, our facade is based on binary logic (10101010) to reflect the character of the high-tech and digital world.
Noise protective shutters rotate in 4 different angles, and that way, create a feeling of randomness. These shutters are for noise protection and natural shading and make sense of one continuous texture. This facade relates in logic with the main airport building skin. That same way, it repeatedly uses one element and alternates it with the slightest variations to control the light and sight through the building skin porosity.
DIGITAL BUILDINGS
A "digital building" can reduce energy usage, improve employee productivity, and generate higher operating income while also increasing the asset value of a building. By combining building systems that manage light, air quality, and physical security into a single IP network, companies with "digital building" systems can increase energy efficiency, human resource productivity and improve the overall experience for company employees or building residents. These two centers will boost operational efficiency and power ability to grow, innovate, and enhance the customer experience for the Shenzhen Airport.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our site surrounds airplane traffic from one side and vehicle traffic from another. For this reason, we designed buildings facades to protect users from noise and air pollution.
NOISE PREVENTION
A high level of noise surrounds both buildings. Hence, we coated buildings with sound isolation composite shutters that can reflect and disperse the noise from the environment and make the office spaces a more healthy and pleasant place to work. In addition, we protect facade areas without panels with green belts that behave like a buffer and partially absorb the noise.
AIR POLLUTION PREVENTION
Buildings should equip with air supply systems that filter the outside air and allow healthy, clean air indoors. The second level of protection is green gardens surrounding both buildings and can clean the air to a certain level.
