L’intervento ha previsto la ristrutturazione con sopraelevazione dell’immobile sito in viale Don Luigi Sturzo, angolo Corso Como e ha affrontato la riqualificazione di un edificio costruito all’inizio degli anni ’70 che presentava una serie di evidenti criticità legate alla fisicità del fabbricato, all’efficienza dei sistemi impiantistici e degli spazi interni, all’adeguamento strutturale alla nuova conformazione e alla normativa antisismica, nonché al dialogo con il contesto urbano circostante oggetto di una grande trasformazione. L’edificio è stato totalmente ristrutturato per adeguarlo alle necessità degli uffici tecnologicamente avanzati ed all’impiantistica volta al contenimento dei consumi energetici; ne è stata altresì rinnovata l’immagine architettonica. L’edificio ospita la nuova sede della Società AXA Assicurazioni.
General Planning ha seguito le seguenti attività: Progettazione strutturale ed impiantistica, project management, direzione lavori generale e specialistica, coordinamento della sicurezza.

The intervention has provided the renovation, with elevation of the top floor, of the building owned by Antirion SGR S.p.A. located in Viale Don Luigi Sturzo, Corso Como corner redeveloping a building built in the early 1970s.The building had a number of visible criticalities related to the physicality of the building, to the efficiency of plant systems and interior spaces, to the structural adjustment to new conformation and anti-seismic regulations, as well as to the dialogue with the surrounding urban context undergoing a major transformation. The building has been completely refurbished to meet the needs of technologically advanced offices and plant engineering to contain energy consumption; the architectural image has also been renovated. The building hosts new AXA Headquarter.
