Another expansion for this vibrant and historic community library! BKSK’s architectural design knits together the library’s disparate parts into a cohesive whole. Their lovely contemporary addition to the original Colonial Revival building inspired us, and our graphics and materials play with their juxtaposition of past and present.
Our iconic contemporary glass railing sign announces the library’s presence, and our interior signs pair overlapping, translucent, rectangular planes with type that plays traditional serif off of more contemporary san-serif. We are delighted with the coming together of architecture and graphic design, of past and present, of traditional and contemporary.
