这是由隈研吾建筑事务所设计的云南酒店。该项目为当地、国家乃至国际游客提供了奢华高端的住宿。设计中包括游泳池和水疗设施，以及山腰上的私人别墅，俯瞰连绵不绝的山谷风景。

建筑使用了木材与半透明表皮，与毗邻的云南销售中心（同是隈研吾设计）形成紧密的关系。然而与毗邻建筑相比，这个建筑面积有10000平方米的酒店综合体建筑，通过景观将一系列连接的建筑体块进行延伸。两个建筑之间是一条蜿蜒流动的水系，使两个建筑既独立又统一，同时让建筑形式更加自然地贴合地形。建筑内部围绕着封闭庭院布置了休闲和娱乐设施，提供了开阔的中国乡村风景。

kengo kuma has revealed plans for the ‘yunnan hotel’ in southern china, a scheme that provides luxury accommodation for local, national and international guests. the design features pool and spa facilities in addition to a number of private villas that nestle in the hillside, overlooking the rolling valleys below.

with its use of timber and semiopaque cladding, the project forms a close relationship with the adjacent ‘yunnan sales center‘, also designed by kuma. however, the 10,000 square meter hotel complex contrasts its neighbor, extending through the landscape as a series of adjoining volumes. a sinuous pool of water stretches between the two structures, simultaneously serving as a dividing and uniting feature, and allowing the built forms to more naturally occupy their plot.

internal volumes are configured around an enclosed courtyard comprising leisure and recreational facilities, while also offering expansive views of the chinese countryside. fittings such as the layered slats of the restaurant bar are completed in the architect’s signature style, while other interior furnishings mirror the scheme’s angled roof planes with tables and chairs constructed from timber and glass.
