2013年设计师Maurizio Lai在米兰设计了Taiyo寿司餐厅，随后，他又为这家连锁店在阿迪杰河旁边打造了这个Sushi Lounge餐厅。被分为寿司酒吧区和休息区两部分的餐厅空间，看起来是相互配套的，而且既温柔又舒适。在认真的分析了空间特点之后，设计师对这里进行了重新规划装修，重装的基础理念是强调特殊的环境，他们在店门前面做了隔断，后面则做了纵向的扩展。餐厅后部不甚明亮的环境，反而衬托出休息区的慵懒情调，营造出了一个优雅舒适的氛围。所有装修材料的选择遵循两个主要因素：入口处务必通透明亮、而休息区则需要柔软丝滑。因此，休息区里主要制作了一个木板墙，墙壁上的裂缝和原先遗留下来的壁灯，配上那个镶嵌着的大黑镜子，让这种感觉更加明显。

After the Taiyo Sushi Restaurant opened in Milan in 2013, Maurizio Lai for the same signature chain, Sushi Lounge in Milan, in via Adige. Divided into two main areas, the new restaurant looks to the public like a set of environments: a sushi bar and a lounge area, from warmer and soft appearance. The restoration project of the existing restaurant it is in fact based on the analysis of space distribution, emphasizing the particularity of the environment, consisting of a front portion which overlooks its own outdoor area and a large rear longitudinal development.

The lack of lighting in the rear gave birth to a lounge area warm tones and soft lighting, particularly suitable to create an atmosphere and elegant collection.The choice of materials is so in turn declined in two main guidelines, transparent and bright at the entrance, and silky material in the lounge area. The latter is preceded by a corridor formed by a wall of wood paneling on which happens a scan of cracks and a retaining wall light features a large dark mirror mosaic with cutouts of the same material, but more clear.
