The interfaculty PULSE building at the campus of Delft University of Technology offers a space for activating education, such as -for instance- interactive seminars.
In the interior, a combination was sought of high tech and warm materials. Very refined finishes go hand in hand with installations in plain sight.
Aluminium, various types of glass and concrete exist alongside wood and textile. Daylight permeates the building everywhere; sometimes very direct, sometimes dosed and filtered, for instance by the nicely glossy glass walls of Qbiq. The interior thus reflects the ambition of Delft University of Technology to ensure that students develop into creative, critical and sociable engineers.
Daylight penetrates the new PULSE building everywhere; sometimes very direct, sometimes dosed and filtered, for instance by the nicely glossy glass walls.
