TAMEKAR WADAA Lost Glory_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Tambekar Wada is located at the heart of Baroda, Sanskaari Nagri (Gujarat). Built in 1849-1853 which was the residence of Bhau Tambekar (Diwan of Baroda). Famous for its varied styles Mural Paintings of Lord Krishna in childhood breaking Pot, Lord Krishna doing Raas with Gopi’s, Lord Ganesha in childhood etc., also it has British-Maratha Fight Paintings in the interior of Wada.The Building is under the hold of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) & is almost 140 Years Old. As a part of my Craft Documentation module conducted by MRID, I & my teammates chose Tambekar Wada which is an initiative to create awareness about it & as it is one of the craft or say painting styles, which is lost somewhere unknown to many.
