The urban renewal operations carried out around "Le Sillon," a giant building with 900 housing units constructed in the 1960s, initiated a process of redevelopment in the secludedneighborhood. The reconfiguration of the northern area of the town continues with the development of Bagatelle Park, a 20-hectare sector that will eventually accommodate 1,100 new housing units.
The densification takes into account the natural character of the site, which, as much as possible, must be preserved. The areas open to urbanization are concentrated along the park's edges, or even beyond, such as lot E, which occupies a 4,100 m² plot between a school group and a road.
The 47 housing units of the project are distributed across three minimalist blocks, following a mass plan that preserves the large existing oak trees on the plot. The placement and ground connections are meticulously done. The semi-underground parking areas open directly to the outside and are separated by an ethereal metal mesh contributing to the site's landscaping. A vegetated platform partially covers them.
