HED was tasked with growing the Wallis Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
The Wallis Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism provides a creative and transparent environment to encourage the flow of people and ideas for expected and unexpected formal and informal interactions. The dynamic environment facilitates cross-professional and interdisciplinary conversations, teamwork, and collaboration in research, content development, and media production. The building includes a central village green that provides a central hub as students enter the new facility, and connective and flexible spaces that effectively integrate technology.
The project was honored with an Engineering News Record (ENR) Best Project Merit Award, and a Gold Nugget Educational Project Merit Award.
