Oxymoron, Sauerbruch Hutton’s installation previously displayed at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, extends the draw love build exhibition beyond M9’s upper floor. It sits in the courtyard of the 16th-century Convento delle Grazie, which was also renovated and converted by Sauerbruch Hutton for uses that complement those of the small quarter. Visitors are welcome to take a look inside the installation, where the colour treatment seems to explode the physical confines and large black and white photographs below similarly appear to expand the space.
