中，设计师们先是完成了一个公园式的布景，其中包括一系列的公园弯曲小道，它们互相交叉，通往不同的地区。不同的板块通过绿色植被连接在一起，不同的色带将人们带往不同的小路，一路伴随着美丽的风景，即使是在步行，也丝毫不会觉得疲累。公园入口处的景观更是令人们眼前一亮。公园中栽种了大量的半成熟的绿色植被，主要在街边的大楼与行人之间起到一个过渡的作用，不仅美化的了风景，而且使得公园的景观得到补充，让整个公园看起来更加完整。

Heron Quays West is a new green gateway park leading into the Canary Wharf Estate. The Practice was appointed to create a temporary landscape on one of the future building plots to provide both recreational, social and activity opportunities for all users.

The landscape proposals were to create a park setting that included a series of winding paths through interconnecting spaces. These are linked by feature planting in vibrant coloured strips which weave their way along the main routes and provide both seasonal interest and high visual impact, particularly at the main entrances. A large number of semi-mature trees were allowed in the proposals in order to help provide a transition from the towering buildings down to the human scale within the park; and in addition to create an established feel to the park.
