PMG Group was engaged by Agilyx to create and deliver an impressive new workspace to better support their people, practice, and clients located in Sydney, Australia.
Agilyx sought an open plan and agile work environment to encourage communication and transparency. A large breakout which staff could enjoy socially or use as a meeting point was a must. Of great importance was an impressive entrance and boardroom. The design concept needed to inspire, whilst achieving a connection with the heritage of the location, Pyrmont.
Agile work spaces including phone booths, hot desks, cubbies, standing collaboration zones, lounges, a communal drop-in bench and traditional meeting rooms were incorporated to support the different working styles of the team.
The layout allows the natural light and engaging views to be experienced by everyone, with the refreshing palette welcoming staff and visitors alike. From the instant you arrive, you are immersed in the business. The boardroom stands as a clear cube allowing visitors and staff to connect. The neoteric design connects the phenomenal sandstone wall, timber ceiling, LED logo and glass to create a sensational synthesis of the suburb’s heritage and the Agilyx culture with technology at its core.
The bold design showcases contrasting materials to create a dynamic blend of refined industrial rawness, texture and progressive innovation – sandstone/neon, carpet/concrete, spotted gum veneer/glass. The breakout truly enhances the space, enticing staff to immerse themselves in the new collaborative culture with greenery, natural light and water views, It effectively blends seamlessly into the client facing waiting area.
The new workplace is beyond anything the client imagined, they are loving it!
