Bernard Dubois Architects is an architectural design studio based in Brussels, Belgium, founded in 2014 by Bernard Dubois. Based on overseas travel and work experience, the designer has a positive reflection consciousness of the research object in his heart, and his works can always present a different visual beauty and spatial experience.

Bernard Dubois has reinvented a beach hotel in Cap-Antibes with two restaurants, an all-day bar and a private beach, offering 35 rooms in a style that embraces the aesthetics of the Bauhaus and Arts and Crafts movements while paying homage to modern architecture and Mediterranean heritage homes. Give it an original and charming atmosphere.

Casson

The studio renovated the hotel to blend the building with nature, with creamy stucco extending from the exterior to the interior, clean lines and elegant curves reminiscent of a home in Palm Springs, California, while the gravel floor, known as Casson, is reminiscent of a Mediterranean villa. Among them, the clever light and shadow inside creates a subtle relationship of interaction, making the space more coherent and dynamic.

Compared with other projects of Bernard Dubois, Alsterhaus is richer in color, shape and material selection, so as to create a contrast between each other and enrich the visual experience of shoppers. The smooth and clean lines connect the space in series, and the random furniture forms and wall shapes create a unique vitality and mystery under the hidden light inside.
