GRAEF were engaged by DR. KADE Pharmaceutical Company to design their offices located in Berlin, Germany.
Founded in 1886 the DR. KADE PHARMA has moved into a monumental Ullsteinhaus in Berlin, Germany in December 2018. There was the idea to create a space where the new idea of working fits its best. The design combines the historical elements of Ullsteinhaus built in the 1920er, the history of the company itself and the modern built-out, filled up with a mixture of clean workspaces and also multifaceted furniture in all other zones like the amphitheater, library, kitchen meeting rooms and other.
The desk are located at the windows site of the space under the fully equipped ceiling with acoustic, A/C, heater, airing and all the electricity. To break the space there are a lot of stand-up meeting rooms also located at the window site. In the internal space are located further meeting rooms, phone boxes, workshop rooms, coffee kitchens, sport rooms and shower, wardrobe and lockers. In additional there is the amphitheater for all-hands-meetings, the library and the cafeteria.
The concept of the design is to match colored furniture with clean desk, dedicated to the pharma, underlined with the warm oak, filled up with plants.
