Near the old centre of Monreale, a city whose artistic and architectonic importance has been recognised by UNESCO, this apartment with panoramic views has been made over thanks to an interior design project developed by LAGO and GANCI ARREDAMENTI. It looks out at the mountains around Palermo and this fairy-tale location, together with centuries-old Sicilian tradition, is what inspired the interior designers in their creation of a true design apartment.

The living room, enhanced by the natural light brought in by the generous windows with their views of the Sicilian hills, boasts ample comfortable spaces, the perfect setting for some of the most famous LAGO design furnishings.

The design table par excellence, Air Wildwood Table, with its essential shapes, is the main player in a dining-room dedicated to eating in company. The unusual lines of the designer shelving meanwhile, show just how much freedom of expression is possible with LagoLinea.

The sitting room in the apartment is also given the design treatment, with the modularity and innovative legs in tempered glass of an elegant made-to-measure Air Sofa.

The bedrooms in the apartment are a modern double with en-suite bathroom and a twin with a walk-in wardrobe.

Both offer the emotion of suspended sleeping thanks to the famous LAGO design beds, with Fluttua Bed chosen by the interior designer to furnish the master bedroom and two light modern beds featuring the Air system for the other one.

For this project, LAGO design has reworked and enhanced the different rooms in the apartment, creating a pleasing relaxed mood. The end result is perfectly embodied in the sensation of warmth you feel as you admire the surrounding valley caressed by the Sicilian sun.
