Karen Blixens Plads covers 20,000 square metres and was designed and built by COBE inside the University of Copenhagen.

From the beginning, COBE hoped the project would "improve the connection between the landscape and the urban space, integrate the best green space with a large bike parking area, and create a space that provides a good social gathering place and learning environment."
