Design concept is the “LUMI GARDEN” for the Earth and all life on it. The name is a combination of “Luminous” and “Garden”, which means the light for all people and harmony with nature. It is meant to give positive energy and inspiration while promoting coexistence with nature and environment. We worked on the branding and spatial design based on the harmony between human and nature as the key concept.

We wanted to create a new standard of service area, being more than just a place to eat and rest. Ansan Service Area had to be a place where visitors come with a purpose to gain meaningful experience. It was also important to create an atmosphere that is comfortable, safe, and carefree.
