In March 2004 the RockHouse was completed and catapulted [STRANG] onto the Miami architecture scene. Located in Miami’s tropical enclave of Coconut Grove, the RockHouse has become one of Miami’s iconic residences. Most notably, the home was cast as a drug lord’s jungle lair in the 2006 film adaptation of Miami Vice. The award-winning design has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, HGTV, MIAMI Modern Luxury, Miami Herald, Ocean Drive, Florida InsideOUT, Robb Report, Objekt International (Netherlands), AXXIS (Colombia) and Interior Magisinnet (Norway). Additionally, the home was used in the USA Network’s Burn Notice series and several television commercials. Photographers coveted the sophisticated architecture and heavily landscaped garden for fashion and catalog shoots. The home is the former residence of Max and Tamara Strang.
