Located in Şişli, a district that has been one of the oldest centers of Istanbul, the I-Tower covers the expectations and needs of individuals and institutions in proffessional life. Rather than a single building containing unconnected floors and layout, this project offers a holistic system design which has floors working in an integrated way with various functions. All users in the private offices of the building can meet their physical and daily needs in designated spaces such as meeting rooms, gentlemen's club, and fitness center. On the facade, horizontal components provide effective daylight usage and sunshade. Through the implementation of self-directed office based HVAC systems, potential administrative and financial problems are decreased to minimum. All these characteristics in I-tower’s design provide free and comfortable office spaces.
Thanks to the different layout for each floor with sliding edges on the corners, the perception of the building from outside changes with every different point of view.
This outer design reveals a surprising dynamicity to the way I-Tower is perceived from different angles.
