Alain Ducasse, one of the most famous and refined French chefs, able to reinvent the art of cuisine with his perfectly balanced creations between art, raw materials, and flavours, once again brings his savoir-faire to the very recent Café Jacques at the Quai Branly Museum (Jean Nouvel atelier) in Paris.

For Café Jacques, a clear tribute to Jacques Chirac who strongly wanted the Museum dedicated to the Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas, interior designer Aliénor Béchu - Agence Volume ABC chooses the Lisa line by Marcello Ziliani of SCAB Design production as proof of the maximum versatility and customization of the seat, its strong point.

The extremely bright environment is like a light-coloured container with the gold and cognac finishes used to complete the furnishings in contrast. SCAB Design supplied bar chairs and stools for the set-up, which, thanks to their enveloping backrest, match the soft shapes and materials of the café. For Lisa they chose a brass-effect structure and a cognac-coloured fabric for an elegant effect combined with the marble tables and the sofas along the walls.

The new Café Jacques was a collaborative job; each player brought their sensitivity and their idea of attention to detail, which SCAB Design represented with its custom-made Lisa for an exclusive seat. A product capable of accompanying the sensations and emotions of the great chef’s dishes, Lisa is an integral part of the Ducasse experience in Paris.

The large windows connect the spaces of the restaurant with the garden designed by Gilles Clement. The golden reflections of the Lisa seats and the tables communicate with the woods chosen by the French landscape designer, creating a continuous link between nature, food, and well-being. A tasty, simple, and genuine break with a view overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
