[ENG] - Wallpapers by Inkiostro Bianco decorate the rooms of the hotel with expressive creativity.
The structure originally was a convent situated in the heart of the city of Rome, then became a high school and in the end a hotel with a strong historical background.
‘The wallpapers play a key role in this project – states Salvatore Abruzzese, interior designer of this project – We have chosen Inkiostro Bianco because we knew that it would have been the perfect partner to develop these themes.

The request of the customer was to break the austerity of the location with a touch of color and a re-evocation of nature.
Natural and primordial elements, such as water, air and earth, have been integrated in the hotel, creating a sensory journey through the rooms, the corridors, the suites and the staircases, with a final synthesis in the hall.
The materials chosen for this project perfectly match from a chromatic point of view, thus highlighting the striking decorations of the wallpapers, customized on each floor of the hotel according to the chosen theme. These are combined with the design lamps by Flos and Karman and the furniture by Moroso in a refined way.
The final result is a walk through a nature reserve, creating a sensation of calm and inner serenity.

La struttura di partenza era un ex convento nel cuore della città di Roma, diventato successivamente liceo classico e infine hotel con un valore storico di rilievo.
“Le carte da parati giocano un ruolo importante all’interno del progetto. – afferma Salvatore Abruzzese, interior designer e curatore del progetto – Ci siamo rivolti a Inkiostro Bianco perché quando abbiamo pensato alla tematica del progetto sapevamo di rivolgerci al partner giusto.
Conosciamo l’azienda e ne siamo affezionati. Inkiostro Bianco ci sorprende sempre ogni qual volta li approcciamo grazie ad uno staff di persone sempre pronte a trovare la risposta ad ogni tipo di esigenza unitamente ad una proposta originale e creativa”
La richiesta della committenza era spezzare l’austerità della struttura con un tocco di colore e un’ispirazione naturale.
Gli elementi naturali primordiali, quali acqua, aria e terra, sono stati portati nei locali dell’albergo cercando di ricreare un percorso sensoriale che attraversa le camere, i corridoi, le suite e le scale, e trova sintesi nella hall.
I materiali utilizzati si amalgamano in maniera armoniosa sia dal punto di vista materico sia cromatico esaltando le fantasie delle carte da parati con soggetti caratterizzanti personalizzati in ogni piano dell’hotel sulla base del tema individuato. Questi si abbinano perfettamente alle note di design delle lampade di Flos e Karman e delle sedute di Moroso.
Il risultato finale è una passeggiata in una riserva naturale che trasmette una sensazione di quiete e pace interiore.
