For the SZIGET Festival 2015 in Budapest, Mattia Paco Rizzi has realized, in collaboration with Giorgio Bartocci, an wooden playful artistic-architectural installation for the Art of Freedom program: Let's Swing! The concept is very simple: a wooden circle emerges from the ground as the skeleton of a prehistoric animal that accommodates ten swings.
The wooden roof hosts the work of Italian artist Giorgio Bartocci. His site specific paintings look like the habitat of odd multifaceted humanoids floating at the mercy of 'liquid modernity'. Lost between social relationships and virtual insanities, falling to pieces and recomposing into new forms, in a universally speaking and kaleidoscopic work in progress, living outside of time.
A special thanks to the building dream team : Luigi Greco, Mariangela Bruno and Giulia Cerrato.
