银河波 | 北京设计周 2012 | AIDIA 工作室
银河波装置是AIDIA 工作室为2012年北京设计周而设计的参展作品。由回收利用的1664个老北京酸奶瓶组成莫比乌斯环形发光体，悬挂在废旧的自行车厂楼梯间。
为了这次装置设计我们选择了一种可回收利用，同时也是北京胡同中不可缺少的基因组成：老北京酸奶瓶。作为北京的原汁原味，商店每天源源不断地供给，大街小巷，城市广场随处可见饮用的人们。我们被它的材料特性所吸引：光泽，颜色，形状——–有着不可估量的潜力，我们通过排列组合赋之以新的形式。
新方案不只是简单地回收，更重要的，是它对观念的挑战，提供一种新的感官刺激和体验。在银河波这个作品中我们感兴趣的是，它剥离了酸奶瓶的日常用途，从而搅乱了参观者记忆中的原型，这是一次对批量生产物品的歌颂，以之为设计核心构建一个新的系统和结构。
总体来说，银河湾也是我们对城市研究成果的一部分，通过具体情境和物件对城市重新思考和解读，在对话中揭开城市的表象，发现影响城市的潜在变化和冲突。

Milkywave | Beijing Design Week 2012 | by AIDIA STUDIO
Milkywave is our installation entry for Beijing Design Week 2012. A constellation of 1664 recycled yoghurt jars re-constituted into a moebius wave of light. It hangs from the stairwell of a former bicycle factory in the historic district of Dashilar in Beijing.
For this installation we depart with a found object, a quintessential part of the hutong’s DNA –the old yoghurt ceramic jar. Native to the Beijing cityscape millions of bottles circulate the streets uninterruptedly meeting Beijingers on their corner shop, subway station or local alley. We are drawn to the pot by its materiality; translucency, color and unique shape –properties with the potential of becoming something more, and so we speculate with new forms of aggregation and clustering.
Repurposing is not only about recycling but about challenging perceptions and enabling new sensations; in milkywave we were interested in triggering memories in the visitor and freeing the jar from its original function –a way of celebrating the use of mass produced objects and promoting them as core components in the design of new systems and configurations.
In the big picture milkywave is part on an ongoing research project focused on reading and re-thinking the city through the objects and situations that inhabit it; an attempt to unveil the narratives that speak of claims and conflict, not apparent at plain sight but at the core of the dynamics that drive change in the city.
