Villa Bianca Villa Bianca combines the designs of A-cero of Spain, comprising abstract explosions of art while two of the bedrooms represent giant seashells. Philosophy of Design of Russia has created a conceptual room based around the most famous of Russian icons, the Matryoshka.
Common areas are designed by Philosophy of Design and have created a conceptual room based around the most famous of Russian icon’s, the Matryoshka. Matryoshka is a playful set of dolls of decreasing in size, placed one inside the other. All the dolls are different and each has its own character. The Villa is populated with sleek and modern versions of the doll – each one of them functional and unique. The Matryoshka Doll is present throughout the dining and living area, its shape apparent in the day beds as well as the dining room table, which seats up to 8 guests. Adjacent to the dining room, an outdoor courtyard with Matryoshka-shaped soaking tub is set in front of a wall of water alongside a small spa room.
Matryoshka Suite has a real fresh beach feel with white walls and matte hardwood floors, the Matryoshka doll-shaped bed inlet gives way to a large bathroom with dual vanities and an outdoor soaking tub, with Matryoshka loungers.
The Seashell Suites, designed by A-cero, and inspired by the sea and long strands of seaweed are more masculine in design; the two Seashell Suites possess organic natural curves that flow continuously from the form of the room connecting the interior to exterior. The flow of the curves is reminiscent of strands of seaweed. Fiberglass overlays are set over the natural oak, creating a feeling of calm and serenity. The minimalism of the architecture creates a beautiful frame to place contemporary art pieces, which are changed annually, creating a new skin and ever changing environment in the suites. Black slate is the dominant material in the bathrooms. Both suites are beachfront.
A fusion of Eastern and Western European design, the (3) one-bedroom suites, spa and pool comprise a total of 548 sqm2 The Matryoshka Suite, designed by Philosophy of Design, in homage to the company’s Russian origin, is a concept created around one of Russia’s famous icons, the Matryshka Doll; 61 sqm2 The two Beachfront Seashell Suites, designed by A-cero, are complementary suites inspired by the ocean and Thailand’s lush jungle; 62 sqm2 each.
