Their vision was clear: to imbue their space with a timeless allure, rich in character and depth.

In response to our clients’ quest for enduring elegance and ample display opportunities for their ever-evolving art collection, we embraced an authentic palette of natural materials – timber, stone and aged metals. Our vision was to marry timeless traditional detailing with a contemporary edge. Diving deep into the intricacies of layering, we curated an interplay of light and shadow through furniture and finishes, balancing proportions to evoke a sense of harmony within each space. Our dedication lay in seamlessly weaving classical interior design elements into contemporary living, ensuring an enduring aesthetic.

从郁郁葱葱的绿色植物到丰富的海岸线，住宅周围的无数景观令我们着迷。我们的设计理念力求提炼出这种多样性的精髓，将色调和流动性融合在一起，宛如大自然自身的艺术魅力。通过对比材料（包括石材、金属和木材等有机元素）的相互作用，我们讲述了这些景观的故事。楼梯扶手蜿蜒的曲线与水边的流动性相呼应，而古老的石材景观则通过巨石的造型娓娓道来。垂直的青铜装饰与邻近树木的青铜色树皮相映成趣，将建筑环境与自然环境联系在一起。为了向海湾的海洋遗产致敬，在栏杆等元素中融入了手工制作工艺，保留了船只遍布这片水域的历史遗迹。

We were captivated by the myriad landscapes surrounding the home’s location, from lush greenery to plentiful shorelines. Our concept sought to distil the essence of this diversity, blending tones and fluidity akin to nature's own artistry. Through the interplay of contrasting materials, including organic elements like stone, metal, and wood, we narrated the story of these landscapes. The sinuous curve of the stair handrail echoed the fluidity of water's edge, while ancient old stone landscapes were told through the monolithic stone forms. Vertical bronze accents mirrored the bronzed bark of neighbouring trees, connecting the built environment to its natural surroundings. In honouring the bay's maritime heritage, handmade techniques were woven into elements like the balustrade, preserving the legacy of a time when ships dotted these waters.

In a world saturated with fleeting trends and disposable goods, we sought to veer away from the allure of fast fashion aesthetics. Our approach prioritises the creation of thoughtful interiors that are not over styled with products but instead, allow the residents the freedom to curate their spaces gradually, imbuing them with personal significance and depth. We advocated for the cultivation of meaningful design awareness among our clients, urging them to invest in enduring materials and furnishings - a commitment that not only reduces waste but also diminishes landfill burdens. From its inception to completion, FY Residence was conceived with a vision of interiors that evolve in tandem with the family. Meticulously crafted spaces to accommodate both present and future art collections, selecting materials destined to acquire a graceful patina as they mature alongside our clients' lives.
