建筑师在海滩公园建造了塔玛拉玛凉亭，为来到澳大利亚悉尼郊区的游客创建了活动场地，把旧的设施淘汰掉，游客也在不断增多。该项目是由lahznimmo architects建造的，视野开阔，适合赏景。长条状的设计结构包含了卖食品和饮料的货摊、浴室和卫生间。此外，对面的小房子有救生和急救设施。亭子附近有一些休闲桌椅，坐在那比较遮阳，便于欣赏周围的景色。

海滩和公园被一座沙岩悬崖包围着。亭子和周围环境相融合，附近都是山和悬崖，中间是开放的活动区。建造时，使用预制的混凝土板，墙上有木质包层。长条形的凉亭很适合晒日光浴、冲浪和散步，这里提供食物和饮料，来游玩的人越来越多，亭子已经成为聚集地。外部采用木板设计，比较遮阳，还采用了纵向天窗，便于采光。滑动门连接着浴室和洗澡设施。亭子靠近悬崖，整体的色调比较一致了，安全设施比较齐全。

replacing dilapidated facilities, the ‘tamarama kiosk’ improves a popular beach park which serves a growing community of visitors in a suburb east of sydney, australia. the project was designed by lahznimmo architects, whom sought to respect the existing sense of place by reflecting the unique characteristics of the landscape. a long bar-shaped structure contains a concession stand providing food and beverages, as well as shower and toilet amenities. additionally, a second small building located on the opposite side of the site houses a life saving store and first aid equipment. a shaded area with tables and seating is located adjacent to the kiosk, and provides views of the green space and ocean.

attempting to relate to the natural context, the design utilizes a site specific material palette, reflecting the surrounding hills and sandstone escarpment which encloses the park. rather than calling attention to themselves, the buildings sit back against the cliffs, to retain the central open space and promote existing pedestrian circulation. the structures utilize precast concrete panels, with wood cladding wrapping the walls. timber screens provide shade on the volumes’ openings, with clerestory windows which provide indirect sunlight to the interiors.
