For this sneaker store in Mallorca, Ciszak Dalmas has devised a minimal space that goes beyond a traditional retail environment. Highlighting the brand’s commitment to purity, clean lines and simple geometries, the interior is uniquely un-’hypebeasty’ in a landscape that is often characterised by the overt.

If it looks familiar, you’d be correct—the store follows the design language of their Madrid outpost also devised by Ciszak Dalmas. And similarly, the objective remains the same—that at HOFF, the unisex shoes are the protagonists. Colourful and expressive in themselves, the interior architecture serves to highlight them. Orbiting around these focal points, a soft colour palette composed of pink, grey gradient, and pale washed greenstones conveys a zen-like sense of spatial harmony. The mostly earthy materials of marble, stone, ceramic and lacquered metal paired with a hand-made resin floor create a gentle balance between architecture and products to display.

Intimate and relaxed, the main floor elevates the sneakers to a gallery-like presence, sitting in contrast to the urban and colourful style of the products. Each product is presented as a unique piece, put on platforms and pedestals of varying colours and materials.

The interior is entirely furnished with bespoke pieces, such as the sofa, tables, props, and visual accessories. The sofa is upholstered in tweed bouclé textile, similar to a woven pattern. The central area is revolving around two Baiteg stone tables, a traditional Spanish material that provides a sense of natural earthiness. Resembling limestone, it sits comfortably alongside the pink-mauve pigmented cement walls.

Up on the first floor, the fitting rooms, recognizable by their hanging luminous arches and thick chocolate curtains, cocoon the customer. Ceramic tiles from the south of Spain cover parts of the walls and shelves, their glossy finish bouncing off light from the large windows that have a view of Avenida Jaime III, one of the main streets of the City of Mallorca.

From the street, the store is distinguishable thanks to a sandstone facade and a very recognizable neon sign, visible from any angle of the street.
