Located in the second floor of a commercial building within the Centro Infinito ensemble in Santa Fé, Mexico City; the CEIBA Hands & Feet Spa develops itself following the argument of offering the user the maximum comfort as possible in everyday activities, this should be reflected both in materials and spatial arrangement. The project was mainly conditioned by the morphology of the building’s polygon and the irregular structure that cut off the free usage of the area. The space grows up in a circular logic, where the central space it’s a great semi-public area that houses the Nails Bar and the Wellness Area. A wooden trelliswork escorts all the interior arrangement separating both the Shiatsu Massage Private Area and the Services Area from the main Public Area. At the same time we took advantage of the irregularity of the structure which was evidenced towards the apparent piping system, same that follows the radial logic using it as a geometric centroid, ending in the specific luminaires design for the Spa.
