Bullock + Wood Design have designed the offices for toy and board game giant, Hasbro, located in Mississauga, Canada.
The focus for the new 15,000 sq.ft. workplace was driven around the well-being of the employees and providing a progressive and professional image while featuring the playful dynamic of children’s toys.
A bright, neutral palette with colourful accents provides the backdrop for Hasbro’s strong brand of various toys. Combined with natural wood materials, the texture and pattern of a folded edge are seen throughout in walls, millwork, flooring and lighting, which provides an exciting yet professional energy that welcomes employees, buyers and guests alike.
Employees are excited to practice “Well-being” habits with their new Steelcase sit-to-stand desks, access to natural light and easily accessible locations to refreshments, meeting rooms and utilities. Traditional and casual meeting spaces are incorporated throughout the office with Haworth and Steelcase furniture, providing convenient areas to collaborate while supporting integrated technology for a higher caliber of communication and flexibility.
The central Presentation Room supports large product launches, meetings and yoga classes. The adjacent ante-room “Hub-Café” provides a relaxing and social refreshment area for breaks in long meetings while promoting their newly launched products on a digital and shelf display. This centrally located Hub-Café is enjoyed by employees daily in addition to their brightly-branded lunchroom.
The team at Hasbro have found a new and creative energy in these innovative offices that will motivate the employees to keep kids enjoying great toys for a long time!
