新华路历史风貌区是上海市历史文化风貌重要的保护区域,风貌区内共有 13 处共 24 幢上海市优秀历史建筑以及一定数量的保留历史建筑,上海民族乐团自 1982 年迁入新华路 336 号,毗邻新华别墅。依托现有历史留存建筑和新华路历史文化风貌,通过统筹布局和合理设计,对房屋结构、外立面、舞台、建筑声学、建筑设备等进行优化加固和修缮改造。项目建成以后,一方面构建出新的艺术殿堂,推进乐团改革发展,另一方面促进民族音乐文化传播、弘扬中华民族传统文化。

Xinhua Road Historic Area is an important protected area with Shanghai’s historical and cultural features. There are 13 excellent historical buildings and a certain number of retained historical buildings. Since 1982, the Shanghai National Orchestra moved into 336 Xinhua Road, adjacent to Xinhua Villa. Relying on the existing historical retained buildings and historical and cultural features of Xinhua Road, through overall layout and rational design, the building structure, facade, stage, building acoustics and building equipment were reinforced and renovated. After the completion of the project, on the one hand, a new artistic palace has been constructed to promote the reform and development of the orchestra, on the other hand, it can promote the spread of national music culture and the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.

改造前,地块内既有建筑年久失修,和同毗邻的新华别墅内优美的环境存在明显差距。

改造前,基地内存在一些较为破旧的临时加建建筑,影响建筑整体的安全性,同时建筑的使用功能及流线也较为混乱。

"短歌轻咏动月影,琴弦漫走寄相思。"将民族乐中的琴弦曲线融入到建筑造型及立面设计中。建筑立面利用不同长短的浅色陶土管装饰,在增加光影效果同时,也将民族乐器中竹笛和琴弦的意向融入其中。
The stringed curve of national music is integrated into the architectural modeling and elevation design.

沿法华镇路的立面采用曲线形式,呼应“弦”这一概念,立面窗洞是在原有窗洞的基础上重新变换排布,更具灵活性。

设计利用中国传统园林的空间构成手法组织室外空间,最终得以在狭长的室外空间里形成多样的视觉感受。设计同时也保留了地块内原有的高大树木,使景观和建筑得以一体化的设计营造,在改善原有杂乱环境的同时,构筑出具有艺术气息的场所氛围。
