Playgrounds locating in between the schoolyards in middle school area
The school is subdivided into several yards, each belonged to students at different stages of development. Classrooms sit on top of the specialized classrooms and the offices, creating dynamic, diverse teaching phenomena on ground floor without disturbing the conventional teaching spaces above it. Playgrounds locating in between the schoolyards allow children to meet, gather and spend their leisure time together. As an extension of the public space, corridors unite the campus as a whole and strengthening connections within the school. The project also aims to recreate the traditional poetic atmosphere in Jiangnan region.
