The intervention on the already existent Santa Caterina church has been divided into two phases: from 2006 the interiors redefinition with the study of the liturgical space and the windows; in 2010 the external restyling of the facade and the study of the parvis space.
During the first phase, the area around the presbytery was completely renewed by new liturgical elements, similar in geometrical precision and chromatic brightness. The baptismal font is made by a trapezoidal white Carrara marble small tub in front of the ambo. A Virgin Mary statue in placed on a bed of pebbles to symbolize the uneasiness of life.
Looking at the exteriors, the facade has a smooth surface withdrawn from the street level. Perpendicularly there is a white wall that forms a big vertical veil on top of which there is a metal cross.
