BLOW-UP is the 2nd prize winner in the International student competition Home Kit, which was organized by The World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) in UK.
The project is an incremental building that aims at providing and modular low-income home for the Slum Dwellers in Sudan. It is biomimicry for the exoskeletal hermit crabs that carry an unstable life similar to that of slum dwellers. Their shell is the portable, protective, replaceable temporary habitat.
