The beauty of the teeth is organic and natural. Everyone’s teeth are unique. From a technical standpoint, CAD/CAM dentistry and cosmetic dentistry are considered art. It’s the art that creates infinite possibilities to meet every individual’s needs. The astounding fact is that every particular can affect your facial feature dramatically. With its extreme delicacy nature, it stands to reason that dentistry is considered fine art.

Carlo Alberto Scarpa，一个建筑界里的传奇建筑师，如果你细细端倪他的建筑，你会看见无数的手工艺细节，各类型的材料转折与接口，混泥土堆叠的层次，各种不同形状的尺寸，有序而又看似随机的出现在空间的各个角落，如果现代主义说，装饰即是罪恶，那么它的建筑应该是罪恶至极，但是却又让人目眩神迷，感受到这些建筑与设计的细节融入于空间的生命力之中，仿佛，没有了这些细节，建筑的生命就会因此而消逝。

If you scrutinize Carlo Alberto Scarpa’s legendary works, you’ll discover enormous craftsmanship details such as all kinds of bends and connections from different materials, stacks of concrete layers coming in different shapes and sizes scattered all over the place. Everything appears in order with a seemingly random touch. The modernist architect Adolf Loos thinks the ornament is a crime. In that case, Scarpa’s works are nothing but dazzling felonies. The decorative details of his architecture and design nourish the vitality of the space. Hypothetically speaking, his architectural works will decay without these details.

设计概念中，利用斯卡帕建筑中细节看似随机却富含规律的特色，呼应牙齿在形态上看似随机，却在美齿技术上对每个排列斤斤计较。

Scarpa’s works are our inspiration for this project. The random nature of the teeth and cosmetic teeth alignment bear certain similarities with Scarpa’s architecture.

如果牙齿的型态是一种有机而似乎不可控，那么我们在室内所呈现的所有细节、转折、脱缝、则全部都是计划，然而，这种计划，暗示了牙医在进行治疗过程当中的细节与精密，因为精密与高超的技术，才得以使所有的客户在最终得以获得最美丽自然的容貌。

The teeth are organic and uncontrollable whereas the details, transition, and seams are purposely designed in the interior of this clinic. Our design reflects the delicate nature of the dental treatment. It’s a combination of delicacy and supreme skills that brings a wonderful smile to the client’s face.

白色，是最令人感受平静的色调，随着白色的基底，可以衬托出人工的精致，也可以让空间原始的粗旷被对比呈现，在空间中”不做”与”做到极致”，变成两个对应，反映在一种看待人工美丽的呼应上，到底是做了？还是没有做呢？我们想要美丽，却希望做到像没有做一样，这似乎就是这里存在的意义。

As the most calming color, white is what sets the tone for the background. It helps direct people’s attention to man-made delicacy and contrasts with the roughness from the original condition. “Do Nothing” and “Take it to Extreme” contrast quite the opposite. While hungering for beauty, you still want to conceal the artificial bits beneath that elegance. This incongruous mindset appears to rationalize why such a clinic like this exists.

在空间中，所有的光，几乎都是以间接的方式来晕染空间，让空间里的白，有着温柔的变化，柔化掉带有医疗感的氛围，取而代之，变得更为柔软，也透过这些晕染的灯光，让所有空间的细节与阴影，变得更为立体，更有视觉的层次。

Nearly all the lighting is indirect lighting, which allows the color white to gently soften the coldness that most clinics have. With the gradient light technique, the detail to this clinic jumps up creating some pleasant shadow. The room is more three-dimensional and visually diverse.

细节，未必要让人直接感受，但是却要让人在心中无法忽视，因此透过光与白色，我们可以仿佛进入了一个没有时间的空间场域，诊疗室里的直纹玻璃，隔断了窗户，让人无法直接的面对屋外的景色，这个画面就像是科幻电影中的场景一般，使人身处于一种单一而纯粹的画面当中，让一切的思绪可以在诊疗的过程中，进入最单一的感官体验。

The details might not be necessarily felt, but the presentation must be undeniable. With the help of the light and the white background, you’re invited into a timeless space. The vertical glasses around the consultation rooms obstruct the view of the streets. The purity vibe makes you feel as if you’re in a set of a science fiction movie. Relax your mind. Your mindfulness will come to you through the immersive experience during your dental session.
