充分利用当地洞石资源，实现成本效益与环保目标，展示独特建筑样本。

项目位于伊朗马哈拉特居住区周边，距首都德黑兰西南262公里，气候炎热干燥。马哈拉特城市周围地区有两座当地著名的矿山，分别为Hajiabad与Abbasabad，山中有丰富的洞石资源。当建筑师接到该项目的委托时，结构和楼板均已建成，业主希望建筑师以最有力的设计将项目的价值发挥到最大，达到最佳的成本效益。

The project is located on a residential periphery of Mahallat ,262 kilometers southwest of Tehran (capital of iran) with the hot and dry climate. Area surrounding the city is rich with travertine which is mainly because of the two significant travertine local mines called Hajiabad and Abbasabad. The project was delegated to the architect at a time when the structure and floors plates were already built and client required a cost effective project.

项目场地长10米，宽8米，东西两侧均为居住区；向南望去，可以看到石灰华矿与山脉景色；而基地的北侧则毗邻当地最著名的绿色社区Sarcheshmeh，此外，Sarcheshmeh也是当地备受青睐的旅游景点。

The land size is 18 * 10 meters with the occupied neighbors on its east and west. Travertine mines and mountains are visible from South and Sarcheshmeh’s green area which is one of the most famous neighborhoods and one of the popular tourist attractions is visible from the North of the site boundary.

马哈拉特市的主要工业经济收益来源于洞石石材的切割与处理，而本项目的业主也是独立的石材专家和石材销售商之一。业主的专长是以低廉的价格为顾客选择各种石材或做石材咨询服务，这个优势也明显反映在本项目的设计建造过程中。2014年，业主以一个合理的价格购买了这处被拍卖的政府房产。项目的落成实现了业主建造自己的首栋住宅的梦想，同时，这栋住宅也成为业主石材生意的代言，作为一个建筑样本将洞石材料展示给周边社区。

The majority of Mahallat’s economy is engaged in the business of cutting and treating stone and our client is also a stone expert and stone seller independently. His expertise is in choosing and consulting various stone at the low price. (and this has obviously reflected on the process of the project) In 2014 our client bought this governmental property at a reasonable price from which it has been already divided. He had a dream of building his first home to make it as a perfect constructed sample of his work in the neighborhood.

住宅内所有的功能空间以一种柔和连续的形式连接在一起，创造出丰富且动态的空间分区。这种动态的韵律从一楼大厅开始，穿过天花板、内墙，一直延伸到屋顶。北立面上，旋转扭曲的几何形状为建筑赋予了独特的外观，使项目从周边建筑环境中脱颖而出。项目的南立面采取了相同的动态形式，但是没有经过旋转处理，这种设置使南北两立面之间形成呼应的同时又形成了鲜明的对比。

All programs are connected along the soft continues form to create spatial divisions with a variety of motion throughout the project. Starting at ground floor from lobby through ceiling, internal walls and continues all the way to the roof top. The orientation of the geometry to the North provides spectacular angle and rotation to the North facade to create different perspective to environment whereas the same movements without rotation adds different quality to the South facade.

对于建筑师来说，这种动态韵律不仅体现在设计概念中，同时也创造出一种全新的材料砌筑方式。立面上的每一块石材都宛如一块环境的碎片，在反映出当地特色的同时，使项目达成高成本效益以及环境友好的目标。

This movement was not only a conceptual movement but also a creative way to utilize the stone as an environmental piece helping us to build a cost effective and environmental friendly project.
