城市更新，更的是什么？

老城区在现代化发展当中，城市设施（公交站、地铁口、配电箱等）均逐渐在城市中占有了一席之地。

公园填补了城市缺失的部分绿色。

但500m范围内可供人休憩的场所依然缺失。

口袋公园正在填补这个空白。

Urban renewal, what’s it is?

The old city is in the midst of modernization and development, urban facilities (bus stops, subway entrances, distribution boxes, etc.) are gradually taking their place in the city.

Parks have filled the missing part of green in the city.

However, places for people to rest within 500m are still missing.

Pocket parks are filling this gap.

Pocket Parks

口袋公园在1963年首次被提出。

如今北京已建设多处口袋公园以填补老城区缺失的绿色空间。

灵境胡同地铁口项目正是这样的口袋公园。

设计的目的是打造一处有文化的、现代的地铁口口袋公园。

Pocket parks were first proposed in 1963.

Today Beijing has built many pocket parks to fill the missing green space in the old city.

The Lingjing Hutong subway entrance project is just such a pocket park.

The design aims to create a cultured, modern pocket park.

地铁与人

Subways and People

地铁是典型的城市设施，这里是人流聚集地，同时也是临时等待与会面的场所。

The subway is a typical urban facility where people gather and where temporary waiting and meeting places take place.

▼这一处小型口袋公园有效改善了地铁口的形象，改善了人的使用感受，This small pocket park has effectively improved the image of the subway entrance and the perception of human use

自行车与人

Bicycles and People

城市设施有很多，自行车、配电箱、燃气站、广告栏、挡墙等，似乎都有合理的存在。

There are many city facilities, bicycles, distribution boxes, gas stations, advertising boards, retaining walls, etc.All of which seem to have a reasonable presence.

三角-亭来自于传统文化。

三角-亭让老城区更加现代。
