The Tea Centre supplies discerning tea drinkers with premium teas from all over the world. To appeal to these aspirational customers we completely re-engineered its look, feel and customer journey. Working with our strategic partners, Retail Oasis, we immersed ourselves in the world of tea. We looked at its history and traditions, particularly the rituals of brewing and tasting. This is all reflected on the layout and finishes of the store. The big departure from tradition is in the customer journey. There is no conventional counter: customers are allowed access to all parts of the store. The large central fixture is reserved for brewing, tasting and conversation. It’s a perfect integration of product, packaging and environment.
